Here are a couple of pictures of the truck that my oldest son, Dan, built. It is an ‘82 body on a ‘77 1 ton 4x4 frame. It has the Dana 60 front end and the Dana 70 rear. It has a 2” body lift as well as a 6” suspension lift to almost clear the 38” tires he’s got on. Power comes from a 400 cubic inch small block with a mild cam running on propane and is put to the diffs via THM400 tranny and 205 transfer case. The body isn’t real pretty but the driveline is as tough as it gets. He’s been talking about putting a ‘67 - ‘72 body on it if any decent ones come along.
